Jones' article, 'Holy Hysteria' provided an abundance of the historical context of the Salem Witch Trials and some interesting and unique perspective into the event. It also provided immense information on what happened at that time, but also about the importance of religious freedom and the separation of church and state.

This website contained a large amount of historical context on the Salem Witch Trials. It identified and explained what type of evidence was shown during these trials and how it has shaped the legal system today, which was useful since it heavily relates to one of the main inquiry questions about how the legal system is influenced by the events of the Salem Witch Trials.

Britannica was very helpful since it provided a wide range of information covering the many important aspects of the Salem Witch Trials. The two sections "Aftermath and Legacy" and "Fits and contortions" quite useful, as it lists the various symptoms and possible causes of the 'witch' behaviour in Salem, which triggered the witch trials and affects the small Salem Village had on America.
